No Woman Left Behind was founded in 2021 by Rosie Zilinskas after a 32-year corporate career. The mission is simple. No high-performing woman should be passed over because she was taught to work harder and trust that her work would speak for itself. Here is how we got here.
After a long divorce process, I walked out of that chapter lighter and more focused. For the first time in years, I had the space to ask a real question: what do I actually want my life to look like from here?
With my personal life rebuilt, I turned my attention to my work. I knew I was capable of more than the role I was in. I started showing up differently: volunteering for hard projects, hitting every KPI, backing up teammates who needed help.
I was convinced that one day someone would notice. I volunteered. I backed up teammates. I trained staff. I pitched improvement ideas. I was doing all the things. Then one day I scheduled a meeting with a senior executive and told him I wanted to become a manager. He looked surprised. At the end of the conversation, he said four words that changed my career: You never said anything. Four months later, I stepped into a regional underwriting management position. That was the moment I learned how to close the gap.
Climbing the ladder was not about climbing faster. It was about climbing without losing the parts of my life that mattered. I built structure around my time, my health, and my family so that growth at work did not cost me everything else.
I earned the Executive Vice President role at AIG Private Client Group. Ten candidates were considered. I was the most composed in delivering how I would create impact. I got the seat because I had finally learned how to articulate the work I had been doing all along.
With my own career in a strong place, I started coaching other women on the same path. I saw the same pattern over and over. Talented, capable, hard-working women quietly hoping someone would notice. I knew the cost of that hope. I had paid it myself.
I made the coaching work official. No Woman Left Behind was founded with a clear mission: no woman should be left behind because she was taught to work harder and believe her work would speak for itself.
To coach at the level my clients deserved, I earned the Certified High Performance Coach credential. CHPC gave me a structured, evidence-based system to equip women to build not just the career they want but the life that can hold it.
Today, I take the keynote stage in front of Fortune 500 audiences and I named the pattern I had been living and coaching for more than a decade: the Articulation Gap. The distance between the impact you create and the impact leadership recognizes and rewards. Closing that gap is the work.
