I am so good. Thank you so much for having me. I’m very excited to chat with you, Rosie.

Productivity Life Coach

Me too. I know you’re a productivity life coach. I know there’s a ton of different coaches. I’ve heard of a life coach. I’ve heard of a personal development coach. I am a certified high-performance coach, but I haven’t made the distinction or talked to anybody about a productivity life coach. Why don’t you tell me a little bit about what a productivity life coach does?

Honestly, I get this question a lot. I feel like a lot of people know what a productivity coach is and what a life coach is, but a productivity life coach, what the heck is that? I so get it because it’s a newer form of coaching. I haven’t even met any other fellow productivity life coaches yet. If you are one, reach out to me, please.

As a productivity life coach, what I focus on is meshing personal and professional development. I strongly believe that you cannot have professional development without first working on personal development. I help self-employed women overcome different mindset hurdles. That way, they can boost their productivity for the long term and start achieving those work-from-home visions that they have. That’s what I do in a nutshell.

I liked that you empower self-employed women because as you will know with the pandemic, so many women exited the corporate space. Now there are so many startups going on with women, which I love. One of the things that I also resonated with when you said that is I’m a high-performance coach, Women come to me and they’re like, “Rosie, I need help in elevating my career.” Although I don’t say, “We have to do high performance first,” we start with high performance because you’re right. I cannot tell someone, “Let’s start doing career coaching,” when there aren’t any personal moments there. I think that’s a fantastic way to start.

Thank you. I appreciate that.

I know that you have an Unstuck framework. I love that because I help women who are stuck figure out how to continue to advance in the corporate world. I generally help mid-level professionals. Why don’t we go through your Unstuck framework? That’s the meat of this conversation today, like the gut of the conversation. When we can give somebody some actionable steps of something that can take away as they’re tuning in to this, that’s what I think is very useful about our conversation. Why don’t we go to the Unstuck framework?

I have created an online course that embodies a lot of the tricks and tools that I personally use to get unstuck in various situations in my own life. I love what you said about the pandemic and how empowering self-employed women after COVID, especially because that’s my own journey too. I felt so stuck in COVID. I had no idea what I was going to be doing with my life. I felt rock bottom and worked up from there. My unstuck framework is built off of my own experiences and it is an acronym. That way it’s super easy to remember. The acronym shockingly is UNSTUCK.

Unstuck Framework

Before we go through the framework and talk about your journey, where were you when the pandemic started? What was the catalyst of the Unstuck framework?

I graduated from college in 2020, right into the pandemic. Before that, I was a wedding planner, but lockdown happened and weddings were not happening. I waited a couple of months to see whether wedding planning going to be a route I could take but then the lockdown seemed to never end. I didn’t decide immediately. I had to go through my Unstuck framework first.

Once I did, I decided to start freelancing social media services. Through that, I fell in love with helping people boost productivity. Through my freelance work, I then created the Productivity Flow, which is my coaching business. That’s how it came to be. It was very natural. I feel like there were many instances before COVID, before I started my business, where I used this framework without realizing that I used the framework.

Let’s get started with UNSTUCK then.

U stands for Understanding the voice in your head. I feel like this one is so important because it’s about boosting your awareness, understanding your self-talk and your self-limiting beliefs, catching them and noticing them, and saying, “I don’t want that to be my story anymore and I’m going to change that story.” That leads us to N, which is Nurture empowering beliefs. It’s about using daily affirmations and self-empowerment techniques to help you on the day-to-day, start believing in yourself, and start boosting your confidence because that is so important for getting unstuck.

No Woman Left Behind | Emily Guerra | Boost Productivity
Boost Productivity: Start really believing in yourself, and start boosting your confidence because that is so important for getting unstuck.

My next one is Substitute self-doubt. This one I love because when you can substitute self-doubt with curiosity and questions, and start finding that childlike curiosity again, it is so helpful in flipping the perspective and finding action steps to move forward. I love to substitute self-doubt. I use that every day. T, we have to Tap into the future. This is about visualization and figuring out what is it that you want to work towards. Who is that future you that you want to become? Start visualizing it, but also don’t just visualize it once. Make it a part of your routine to visualize it and never forget your vision for the future and why you even want to move forward and get unstuck in the first place.

We then have U, which is to Upgrade your routine. A lot of the time a monotonous routine can keep us stuck without even knowing it. Evaluate your routine and upgrade those rituals throughout your day. There are several rituals that I personally follow that I feel help me workflow my day so much easier, and so my day always feels like I have an action plan. I can review those rituals real quick. The first one is a morning ritual to get your day started. You then have a workday startup ritual, which is the workflow of events, tasks, or things that you do to get started at work.

There are midday rituals, which a lot of people skip, but those are taking breaks and making sure that you give your brain a little bit of a moment to catch up and reset because we can rush through the day so often. When we do that, we’re not always intentional. It’s about being intentional. We have the workday shutdown ritual, end your workday, and then the evening nightly ritual, get ready for bed. Being intentional with those and upgrading your routine with those rituals is so incredibly helpful in becoming more intentional with every single day.

We then have C, which is Collaborate. It is so important to reach out to people in your scenario because you are never alone. Remembering that and utilizing the collective wisdom that is out there is so helpful. Collaboration can look like in a digital format, meaning you can take an online course, watch YouTube videos, and listen to podcasts. You don’t always have to be engaging with someone or talking with someone, but talking with someone is always the best bet because then you can get that connection too. Connection is so key for feeling like you’re part of a community and feeling like you’re supported in moving forward.

Lastly, we have K, which is Kindness. It is so easy to get down on ourselves and beat ourselves up when we’re feeling like we’re in a rut because we start to go into these self-limiting beliefs that we’re not capable of moving forward, we have imposter syndrome, and the list can go on and on. It’s about reframing that self-talk and supporting yourself and becoming your own best friend because that’s so important. You can always count on yourself being there, and so you might as well be kind to yourself. That’s my framework.

'Becoming your own best friend is so important. You can always count on yourself being there, and so you might as well be kind to yourself.' – Emily Guerra Share on X

That’s awesome. I love it. We’re going to start from the beginning.

I know that was a lot.

I wanted to go through it quickly because a lot of times what happens is when you start with a framework and then if I interrupt you, then we forget and we figure out we cannot remember where we are. I wanted to go through the whole framework first and then go back to it. Before we start digging and asking questions about that, all of these pieces are so important. I was listening to a podcast.

The founder of IT Cosmetics is Jamie Kern Lima. She’s incredible. She released her second book which is called Worthy. It is so incredible because a lot of these steps are directly correlated with her description. I heard her describe this so awesomely. What she said about your self-worth is visually think of a house. The foundation of the house is cement and it’s reinforced by steel bars and it is solid. It is incredible. You can think about your self-worth as that solid foundation of the house. You can think of self-confidence as the actual frame of the house. More often than not, houses are made of two-by-fours.

The two-by-fours are there. They have the sidings, the roof, the doors, and the windows. Your self-confidence, you can equate it to if someone gives you some bad feedback. Someone is throwing a rock through the window and the window breaks. You feel bad about it, but what do you do? You go and you patch the window. Your self-worth is more internal and the foundation of the house. The outside or what’s visible is more of self-confidence. A lot of the steps that you have here support that. She has a brand new book that’s awesome. I’m listening to it and reading it at the same time so it’s cool.

Understanding

Understand and nurture. This is where understanding and nurturing yourself is so important. When we think about that framework from your perspective, what is it that you did to understand yourself? What were those curiosity questions that you did when you were going through the pandemic? You had no idea how long the pandemic was going to go. Many brides were disappointed because their weddings were canceled and things like that. Tell me a little bit about how you figured out that understanding is going to be the basis.

To backtrack a little bit, I am so fortunate in the sense that I started going to therapy when I was young, around nine years old. I have grown up with a foundation of emotional awareness and seeing how crucial that is to every situation and also to your relationships with yourself and with others. I’m super lucky in the sense that I’ve had the same therapist for years and years.

'Emotional awareness is crucial to really every situation and also to your relationships with yourself and with others.' – Emily Guerra Share on X

She knows me so well and was with me throughout this whole journey and helped guide me in asking these questions and in trying to figure out what my next moves are. Something that she asked me that made me decide to step away from the dream of wedding planning and start building a real business and earning money was, “Is wedding planning worth wasting your life right now? Is it worth waiting? Are you so glued to this idea of wedding planning that you’re not allowing yourself to look at other avenues?”

I realized I had been so glued to this idea because it’s been what I wanted to do since I was in high school. I had internships throughout college and high school. It was what I was going to do. I never thought otherwise. Having her ask me that and having her say, “Are you wasting your time,” was a huge moment for me. I was like, “I think I am wasting my time right now.”

There’s no real reason why I am, except for my own stubbornness. Maybe I need to take a step back and not look at what isn’t, look at what is, and look at the possibilities. It started forming 1% at a time, one step at a time, one day at a time. That’s how it started off. I attribute therapy and having that emotional awareness instilled within me throughout my whole life and throughout COVID as well.

Nurturing

That makes so much sense because there are a lot of people who have gone through different traumas and situations in their lives, but they haven’t taken the time to go to therapy or do that introspective work. I’m glad that you started with understanding yourself. You also said another word, possibility. What are the possibilities? I think people get stuck that they’re like, “I said I was going to be a lawyer or a doctor.” They hate it but their parents want them to be lawyers and doctors, not because they want to, but because of family. Nurturing is another piece. You have to nurture yourself, your mind, and your life. We then come to substitute. What did you do with the substitute section then?

Substitute self-doubt, I focus on getting curious. There are three questions that I always ask myself to trigger momentum in whatever situation I feel stuck in. The first question is, “How can I?” Sometimes we’re so focused on, “I don’t know how. I cannot. There’s no way,” that we don’t even ask ourselves, “Can I? How can I? What would it take for me to do XYZ?” When you answer that question, you will lay out the next steps for yourself. That helps you start to move forward. That’s the first question I always ask.

Another question is, “What can I learn?” Oftentimes, we’re stuck because we don’t know how to do something. “How can I and what can I learn” help you start to build any skills that you may need or start to overcome any dread or procrastination that you may have over certain things. That’s very helpful. The third question I always ask is, “What if?” but in a positive sense. We can get into the worst-case scenarios with these negative what-if questions like, “What if I don’t make it? What if I fail? What if I get embarrassed? What if they judge me? What if I am so scared?” It’s all these questions.

Our brain naturally thinks of the worst-case scenario. Why not start thinking of the best-case scenario and put that out into the universe? Instead of “What if I fail?” maybe it’s “What if I exceed beyond what I think I can? What if this turns out I’m good at it? What if I like it? What if I end up getting a client or two from this?” You start going off with all these best-case scenarios and that boosts motivation. You have to ignite motivation to want to take action. Answering these questions can help ignite motivation.

Tap Into The Future

The next one was tapping into the future. How do you even go from wedding planning to being a productivity life coach?

I know it was such a jump. I firstly started with freelancing out social media services. I am 26, so I grew up with social media. It felt like a very natural fit. I didn’t have to learn too much. I got a couple of online certifications and also scored a couple of freelancing clients by word of mouth. I got very lucky. I didn’t have to do much marketing and I’ve had consistent clients ever since I started freelancing. That was great.

Throughout my process with my social media clients, I realized two things. Firstly, I realized that nobody has a work-life balance. It is a value I strongly hold very dear to my heart and strongly believe that if everybody practiced work-life balance, the world would be a better place. The second thing I realized was people don’t understand productivity systems or organizational systems because they rush into it and don’t set their mindset up for success.

When they rush into it, they end up getting results they don’t love. They try to be more productive and then it becomes a vicious cycle. When I saw this happening with my freelance clients, I felt drawn to help them. One of my clients said, “You’ve helped me so much. You should start a business doing this.” I was like, “Really? I think I will. That sounds great.” The rest is history.

Upgrading Routine

The next one fits well into what you were talking about because it’s no wonder for the upgrade routine, you have your morning routine, your midday routine, your shutdown routine, your evening routine. Do you feel that you’re most successful when you have all of these productivity strategies in place?

Absolutely. A lot of people are against routine because they don’t want their life to be boring. I respect that point of view, but I also think they don’t truly understand routine. Routine is not necessarily about being boring. It’s about saving energy and making room in your life for all the extra fun things that you want to do. When you’re unintentional with your day, your day ends up running you.

At the end of it, you feel exhausted and you don’t want to do those fun things that you had planned before. When you optimize your routine and match your energy levels and you follow your internal clock, your energy stays most energetic. That’s why I personally always follow particularly a morning workday startup and workday shutdown routine. Those are my three. I will never skip those routines.

The biggest key that has helped me maintain those routines is I have two versions of each. I’ll have a longer version where if I feel like I have the time, I’ll go through the motions. Let’s say I feel rushed that day for some reason, I also have a shorter version. It’s 1 or 2 things that I can get done quickly that still set me up for success. Whether that’s organizational success or mindset success, it depends on the day, but I always have two versions.

Do you have two versions for the morning startup and shutdown then? Talk to me about your work startup routine, and the difference between the two. I want to give the audience an idea of what a routine is. A routine is like, “ usually get up, get my coffee, I workout,” and all those things. I’d love to hear the difference between your short and your long startup routines.

I’m going to go through the longer routine first, by the way. preference that. The first thing I always do is I will pick up a book and read for 15 to 20 minutes. I love starting my day with a little bit of inspiration. It’s one of the things that brings me joy in life. After that, I will meditate for 15 minutes. I will go through my day. I’ve already time-blocked it the night before. It’s already outlined and ready to go. I will review what my day is bringing. I know what my first task is since I outlined it the night before, and I will jump right into that.

It’s simple. It’s nothing crazy. That’s the biggest point with rituals. They’re meant to be so simple. Let’s say I’m feeling rushed for time. I will do 5 to 10 minutes of meditation and then jump right into my workday. Meditation for me is the one thing that can always ground me. As much as I love to read, sorry books. Sometimes you have to be pushed to the side if I’m busy.

'The biggest point with rituals is that they're meant to be so simple.' – Emily Guerra Share on X

What I love is that I expected you to go through like this big list. It’s a simple routine, both your long and even your short routine. It’s 1 or 2 things. I was talking to one of my clients and she was like, “I haven’t meditated.” I was like, “The meditation can be very simple. It’s two minutes. All you have to do is breathe and say the word release. It’s one of the meditations that we use. It’s very simple.” She’s like, “That’s it?” I’m like, “Yeah, that’s it. You don’t have to do more than that.” She’s like, “That’s meditation.” I’m like, “Yes.” She was like, “I can do that.”

I love that you have your five-minute meditation. If you have the time, then you read your book. You also said something very key. You outline your task list the day before so that you know exactly what you’re going to start with. You block out your time the following day. I think that’s super critical. Do you follow that every day?

Yes. Part of my workday shutdown routine, especially as I work from home, is I need to separate my personal life and my work life. I’m blessed I have an office, which I am so grateful for. I’ve also lived in one-bedroom apartments, and I’ve also lived with roommates. I know how it can be when you have that lack of separation of space. When you have a lack of separation of space, you have to separate it mentally. That’s what the workday shutdown routine does for me personally. I know it does for a lot of my clients as well.

It’s so simple. What I do is firstly a stop, start, and continue chart. The first column is stop. If there’s anything in my day that was a self-limiting belief or hindered me in some way and I caused it, or if I got in my own way, then I will note it down and acknowledge that it happened. I put it into the stop column so that way, I know tomorrow I’m going to try to not do that. I then start if there is something that I did not do, but know that it will help me. Mind you, it’s always small things, whether I missed a midday ritual or I was late to a meeting, or things that I know set me back a little bit, mindset or otherwise. I’ll add it to the start chart to do it for tomorrow, then continue celebrating those wins and saying, “I am proud of myself that I did this today, and I’m going to do it again tomorrow.”

That’s one thing I do. It always takes like a minute or two. I never go into it too in-depth. The next thing I do is I will outline my day for tomorrow. I have a daily planner. It’s also on my website, but it’s all of my top three tasks, my buffer tasks, my business tasks, and then a calendar that’s time-blocked in 15-minute increments. I will outline it and then I’ll number which tasks I have to do, and then there we go. Now I know what I have for tomorrow. I’m not nervous about it. I’ve already outlined it. I can put it away for tonight and enjoy my night off.

I’m surprised that you are print and write.

Everyone is always so surprised by that. Everyone is also so surprised that I don’t use my phone and I don’t use my phone timers. I have a little cube timer right here that I use that is so helpful because simplifying it makes it so much easier to follow through. I think that’s something in the productivity world right now. We need to simplify everything. It’s a little too complicated. If we can take it a notch down, we’ll be more productive.

Collaborate

It’s so interesting because there are so many people who are like, “Use Monday and use all these.” I’ve tried them and it’s so overwhelming to use because they’re not simple things. If I wanted to do something, I either wrote it down, put it as a task, a calendar invite, or something like that for myself. That entire segment that we talked about was the upgrading routine. Now we have to collaborate. How is collaborating coming into play?

Every day. You and I right now, we’re collaborating. When you feel stuck and you feel like you don’t know how to move forward, remember that there is always someone who has been in your position. You may not know them directly, but you can interact with their content. You can reach out to them. You can learn from them.

Don’t view collaboration as asking for help. A lot of the time we can get so nervous to ask for help and so nervous to put ourselves out there in that way and admit that we don’t know or that we cannot do something. Instead, look at it as you’re gathering information and you’re seeing how other people are moving forward, how you can too, and how you can apply it to your own life. Do not make it so scary and make it more about building relationships and connections, and learning.

That’s the big mindset shift that I had to make with collaboration because I think COVID instilled a lot of social anxiety within me. I had to overcome that. I was building a business. I’d never built a business before. I don’t know what I’m doing sometimes. I have to reach out to people and ask. Learning how to do that was a process for me. I helped break it down in my course and outlined it step by step, how to reach out to somebody and how to collaborate digitally with other people’s content, but also in person.

Kindness

As you said, you and I are collaborating right now, but it can be done individually by writing an article and asking somebody to give you a quote for whatever article. There are so many different ways to collaborate. I like that. The last one was kindness, be kind to yourself. How did that show up for you?

There were many instances where my self-talk pushed me back more than it pushed me forward. I had to take a step back and ask myself if I was empowering myself or if I was disempowering myself. Part of that process was also acknowledging how my body physically reacted whenever I felt like I was disempowering myself. I came to realize that I would get shaky, get tense, and my shoulders would rise. Lots of negative physical reactions.

I wanted to let that go because I did not want to have the entire day full of me being tense and pushing myself farther back. I talked with my therapist. I’m like, “What’s the disconnect for me? Why can I do this? What is wrong with me?” She’s like, “Do you hear how you’re talking? You’re so mean to yourself right now. Are you talking to yourself in the way that you would talk to your little siblings or that you would talk to your grandparents? If that’s a no, then you need to take a step back and switch it up. That way, you treat yourself the same way you treat your loved ones. If you aren’t your best friend, then how can you ever ask someone else to be your best friend?”

No Woman Left Behind | Emily Guerra | Boost Productivity
Boost Productivity: If you aren’t your best friend, then how can you ever ask someone else to be your best friend?

That hit home for me. I also feel like it ties a lot in with nurture. Empowering beliefs and kindness go hand in hand. Kindness is a little bit broader way of saying that. It’s about catching yourself in the moment and being like, “Could I say this to a kid?” If the answer is no, then maybe I need to be kinder. That’s been a huge help for me.

It goes back to that self-worth and that self-confidence. If something outside of you shakes your self-confidence, then you have to work on it. When did you realize that you needed to work on yourself, from the nurturing perspective and understanding perspective, and be kind to yourself? At what point in your journey did that all come together for you?

I feel like that came a little bit before I graduated from college. I lost it a little bit in COVID. Right after I started freelancing again, I found my footing with empowering myself again. In college, there was a point where I was anorexic and not helping myself. My self-talk had a lot to do with that. It got to a point where I was like, almost 85 pounds and scary. I finally had a moment of like, “I cannot do this anymore. I need something to change. I don’t know what, but I know that I can start with me.” That’s where this whole self-empowerment journey started. I meshed into business and productivity as I became a self-employed woman.

First of all, I’m glad you’re better. I’m glad you’re well. It’s one of those things that you have to go through those experiences, those situations, that journey, and you’re still super young, but that served you well because now you’re a productivity coach. What I like is your Unstuck framework, the whole thing, but you have such great routines and perspectives. Even when you catch yourself, knowing that you’re saying something unkind to yourself, you write it down and you are very intentional about shifting that. That is so critically important.

One of the things that I talk to my clients about in social media and my podcasts is you have to be intentional with your career. You need to be intentional with how you’re managing your career because if you leave it on autopilot, then who knows what’s going to happen? I have my clients go through a custom career roadmap. With a custom career roadmap, it has all of those pieces and those components that they have to work on. It’s not going to be a once-and-done. You cannot sit down and do it in one whole afternoon because there are a lot of different pieces.

The important thing is that it’s a process. It’s a journey and it takes time but in the end, what I tell my clients is, I can guarantee you that by the end you will be promotion-ready. The other thing about confidence and with the custom career roadmap or with anything is women come to me and they’re like, “Rosie, I need to get confidence to work on my career.” I’m like, “It’s the other way around.”

The Productivity Flow

I always say like, “What came first, the chicken or the egg? You need to take action and start working on all these pieces to build your confidence.” That’s cool that you exemplified it. As you were working on all these pieces, you were also working on your confidence by understanding yourself, nurturing yourself, and being kind to yourself, all those things. I think you’re in an amazing position as a productivity life coach. Your company is The Productivity Flow. I looked at your website. It looks beautiful. You have Productivity Flow, like very flowy. How did you come up with that? It fits so well.

Thank you. Firstly, I appreciate that. I feel like I spent a little way too long on my branding, but I’ve been getting a lot of good feedback from it. It was well worth it. I honestly asked my dad. He and I were going back and forth with names. I said, “Productivity something,” and then he said, “Something, something flow.” I was like, “The Productivity Flow. That’s it. That’s the one.” It was a fun little brainstorming session that he and I had together where the name came from.

That being said, I do have three pillars of productivity. One of them is motivation. One of them is focus. The third one is flow because I feel like when you can get into the flow, you can boost your productivity, but how do you get into the flow? That’s what I help coach on. It meshed into a beautiful brand that I am very proud of.

I love it. I think it works well. I know we talked about a lot of good things already, but if you were to leave the audience with one actionable thing that they can start doing right away. What would be the one thing that you would ask them to do?

I love what you said about confidence and action because it’s something I also tell my clients so often. I feel like all coaches probably tell this to all clients. It is that confidence comes from action. Taking those first steps can be challenging. Substitute your self-doubt and start getting curious and ask those three questions, whether it’s how can I, what can I learn, or what if in a positive sense. Those questions and curiosity, in general, can trigger momentum in a way you’re not thinking about right now. Probably, one of the biggest keys to getting unstuck is to be open to possibilities.

I love that. You also mentioned something about a course. What is your course about?

It’s called How to Get Unstuck & Move Forward. It covers these seven unstuck strategies that you and I talked about today. These strategies can be used for my three unstuck steps, which I cover in the course. There are over a dozen free bonus tools. There’s a workbook. You get a free coaching session with me, and videos on how to do stuff. A whole bunch of stuff. It’s worthwhile.

All of your information will be on the episode website. I’m excited about that. What’s next?

I love that. I have started public speaking. I have been joining conferences and doing workshops and trying to put the word out there about how to reframe productivity and start using your mindset as the superpower that it is. That’s what I’ve been doing. I’m so excited to continue expanding my coaching career, get more clients, and that whole shebang too.

Of course, you’re going on different podcasts, but the biggest thing is continuing with the productivity life coaching and emphasizing that productivity. The other thing is right now, we’re getting bombarded with information. There are so many things throughout our entire day all over. I am rarely on social media other than LinkedIn. LinkedIn is where I hang out, but I deleted most of my notifications for things because all the dings are so overwhelming.

It takes away from being focused. That’s one of the things that I’m implementing, turning off all my notifications and my family knows that I’m going to be busy from this time to this time or whatever. The work that you’re doing is so critically important right now. Congratulations on all the things that are happening and on the course. I cannot wait to see you on the stage then.

Thank you so much. I had so much fun chatting with you. I feel like I even learned a lot listening to you. Thank you so much. This was honestly so fun.

Emily, thank you so much for your time.

Have a good one.

Thank you all so much for tuning into the episode with Emily from the Productivity Flow. It was a pretty cool and simple conversation about overcoming mindset hurdles and boosting your productivity, which is so necessary today. A few of my key takeaways. The first thing is taking steps to be open to possibilities can trigger momentum and boost confidence. Looking for new ways of doing things is the big takeaway there.

The second thing for me is being kind to yourself is something that we always forget about. Reframing that self-talk can have a significant impact on your mindset and productivity. Give yourself some grace. Give yourself a break for not being perfect about all the things that you need to do. The last thing is that utilizing the collective wisdom of your relationships can help you move forward and feel supported in your journey.

Emily leaves us with one actionable tip. She says to substitute some of that self-doubt with curiosity by asking yourself questions. You can ask yourself a question starting with how can I do whatever? What can I learn? What if? Those are all very simple questions, but very powerful. What if I were to be able to be the best speaker in the world? Something like that.

This can help you trigger momentum, open up to possibilities for growth, and help you progress in your career.
